Not much of a build thread as its almost complete few decals to find and apply
Wasn't really sure which way to go with this (replica wise) as there was only 5 of them with very few pictures as AE wasn't keen on photos being taken.
So of the four non Masami cars i decided to go with some kind of Butch Kloeber look alike probably in part because of a fondness of the Marlboro colours from back in the day. Replica would be too strong of a word as i really only have a couple of pics to go off.
Anyhoo here it is lucky #11 qualifier (missed the main event by 1 second and got beaten by a topcat... ouch) and B main winner
Wow, amazing, I think you could definitely use the word replica! Hopefully once we are all done our 89 kits we can put a thread together just for them! Eager to see sandkil and scr8p cars too!
I come for the RC10's but stay for the Yokomo's
Current projects:
1993 WCS Faux-komo
1994 Yokomo Box-Art
RC10GT Restoration
Good job pedro!
Those bottom load shocks and caps look amazing... do tell, how you did it. Those front tyres look perfect too! what are they? What servo did you use?
Are you going to do the big lifes a beach sticker on the bottom?

Yes i'd love one of those lifes a beach stickers seeing that you're offering
Servo is an Airtronics 94737 not sure about how correct that is but the case looks correct as far as i can tell?
Tyres are copies that i bought years ago from a ebay seller in France.
So just have to track down some of those red lunsford decals and get another sheet of the futaba ones with the power under pressure decal on it, i have one sheet left but need at least another one. Also anyone have any idea what the sticker on the very front of his car is its just in front of the front body mount?
the bad boy club makes sense since it was pretty much hand in hand with lifes a beach. These are all too big I believe but some cool vintage stickers on ebay. This guy I've bought from before is where I got my stickers for my quad. His auctions are decently priced too...getting higher as the time goes by but still decent.
Todd
p.s. just went back though the guys stickers above and I guess they aren't too big. The circle ones are approx 1-1/4" to 1-3/8" like this one...
Peace and professionlism.....Kabunga signing off!!!

Yeah that looks about right bit pricey with the Aussie $ the way it is though
