When it's R/C related, but doesn't fit anyplace else.

I bought a couple penguin b2 bodies before jconcepts released them and they were terrible but that was several years ago.

Not a RC10 body, but I bought a Penguin body for another project and was not happy with the quality of it.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

I've been looking at some Penguin bodies and have an order in with them, including a Protech. I'll report back how the quality seems to be.

It's seems that it is a mixed bag with some folks having trouble with Boki and other with penguin. With shipping it seems about the same price for 2 bodies.

What was the body with the 6001 rerelease? Was it a pro-tech or a protech2? I see one or two of those on ebay.

Have you tried OLDRC.COM/Sabulatech? I've had good luck with mytimac's bodies. He's also got great customer service 8)

It could also be that Penguin does better at some bodies than others. They are British, and I believe the principal at Penguin is buddies with Robin Schumacher. When I contacted them about a body for my Storm, he mentioned having lunch plans with Robin later that week. So maybe they get actual Schumacher molds for the Schuey bodies, but have to pull a mold from a vintage body or use a copy of a copy of a copy for the AE stuff.

Honestly it's just a crap shoot with lexan. Some fit better than others and really, most didn't fit great back in the day anyway.

I have bodies from sabulatech, jconcepts and tbg. All fit reasonably well, but it depends on which body because the quality of the mold dictates the fit.

Just rereading this. So basically the protech body, even originals, don't fit the rc10 well?

I have several of the Boki bodies here if you need any specific pics or info but they are all clear and uncut. Jeremy would want to know about any defects for sure, so if you have some with twist or other issues make sure to reach out.

I don't see it anymore, but Boki used to have a note in the description of the Protech bodies. It stated that they had adjusted the mold to correct some of the fitment issues with the original.

Maybe they have corrected it. The one that I did was a couple years ago.
