About a year ago I built a set of the new gold shocks. There's a very minor film of oil around the shock ends.

If I'm being honest, I'm not overly enamored about Kyosho's bottom fill "re-re" shocks. They look the part but that's about it.

I don't know if the car that you are looking at uses those, but several of the re-re's do.

Now, I recently bought some re-re Tamiya Avante shocks and they are pretty nice.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Hard to bleed but yes, very very nice!

I like the look but not the function. I replaced mine with some Yeah Racing 12mm big bores off eBay and for the price they do the job on a runner.

I have a re-re optima mid that I'm building with exo rc competition kit and will be using associated big bores.

Hi Mike so A&E big bores, sounds trick. What size are you using? Heck they even have Kashima coated shock bodies.
