Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - September 2022 ** - Winner - THEYTOOKMYTHUMB
Certainly a broad mix of cars this month! I had to go with the one that tugged on my heartstrings.... that being the Egress. I raced against and battled with a very competitive pair of these, sister cars driven by Kevin 'Killer' Griffin and Roy Rogers... who were both Team Demon drivers for the 1991 Radio Race Car series. Similar to the Matt Hodgson Tomy, seeing an Egress takes me right back to that season.

A tough decision, I love a good bodge of parts by juiced. But dadio's patience in waiting for 3d printers to produce etc deserves recognition.

Same here. I like them all, and being a Monster truck guy myself, I would love to FINALLY see an MT win. Idea for a future Build of the Month. Theme would be matching pairs - Examples: 1) RC10 & RC10T with common paint theme, 2) JRX2 and JRX2 Mini, 3) RC10 gold pan and RC10 WOIN. Photo below from Fasterlouder posting.

This is a pretty cool idea. Matching paint theme could be quite difficult, so I don't agree that would need to apply. But the matching pairs idea would be cool.

Congrats on the Dominating win! You fended off that hard charging Grasshopper admirably!

The "Dom" did some "Domming". Well played. Great entries all. I got pulled in by the Kyosho. Something about the stance and picturing it hooking up out of a hairpin and laying some roost and a trail of blueish smoke down the straight.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Well done Thumbs, and good job to all entries. As soon as it was posted I really wanted to vote for that Rampage Pro. But then the Dom was posted and it really was a tough decision, teeter-tottered for days.

Well done Thumbs! I remember the dominator, and you did a nice job showing why it still looks cool today. It was 100% deserving. Having said that, I have to stop getting in last place dude story of my life haha.

Thanks all, and great entries! All credit to my cousins coxbros1 and thediamondone for bringing it to its full potential after my half-assed resto!
Thanks to scr8p for finding it for me in its original state and nailing the selling price within 3 bux! It fulfills a lifelong dream having it on the shelf for sure!
