Little paint work today

Post by Steve71 »

Woke up with a massive migraine today so after it finally went away, I decided to take it easy today and not do much. So pulled a body off the shelf I have had for awhile and airbrushed it up as a new body for one of my 1/10 trucks to give it a bit of a face lift. Nothing real fancy, just a quickie paint job since this truck gets bashed on pretty hard.

That looks great Steve.

Funny; your "nothing fancy" basher bodies look better than some of my shelf queen bodies.

What blue did you use?

It's made by Faskolor and is called Faspearl Blue. It's probably one of my absolute favorite Rc colors to use, because it has such a deep rich look to the blue, and the pearl gives it a hint of metallic. Being a pearl it goes on really thin so it needs to be backed. I back it with black which is what really gives it the nice deep color once you do that.
