Couldn't help myself, just kept coming back for another look at the Sledgehammer, so digging the monstrous heat sinks on the ESC

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Yea, the truck started off mostly stock from the original owner, but the ESC had been replaced at some point over the years. I knew that I needed to bring it back to original form with a XL-1 with boat heat sink, but figured I would never find such a beast. Just stupid lucky to find a heatsink NIP around the time I needed it. You gotta take the little wins when you can!

SSSSHHHH, cool, everyone be quiet. I am in the lead, so no one else vote. Just let this play out as-is. It is fine as it is!
Just kidding! I ran the quick math and the average number of votes for BOTM for Jan-July 2022 has been 56.7 votes. There are currently 32 total votes in for August, with one week left. No one wants to win this with the asterisk! Get out there and vote!

It's sad people won't vote/participate...I tried to push this contest to get people involved but was shut down...I appreciate everyone's builds and efforts they put in...just sad

Last year's average number of votes for BOTM for Jan-Nov was 60.4 votes, so lagging this year a little from last. I think spreading encouragement wouldn't hurt.
Even though it's beyond unlikely any hoopties I slap together will ever carry home a BOTM win, I'm still gonna try to give more effort to participate in the future. Folks need to know this is all about fun and sharing in the hobby.

Neck-n-neck with under 16 hours yet to go. My vote is tied in the lead (which was a very tough choice between the two current leaders), so kinda rootin' for a tiebreaker. I've yet to see one. But there might be a sneaky feller waiting to vote until the bitter end incase of such a thing.

Nice work everybody. I was pulling for the Sledgehammer. But so goes the voting dynamics. That is a crisp Graphite, I must say. Not to rekindle the 2 votes, 1 vote debate (I am definately a one vote fan), but if I had had 2 votes.....

Hope you're doin' something fun.
