Baby Brushless motor. Next to a 380 for scale.
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
JRX Pro bits off a racer here in New Zealand.
My JRX-Pro had the longer front shocks, but they were rears off the later JRX-PROSE, which were anodized black, rather than the original silver the first models came out with.
Local collector was kind enough to sell me a pair, along with a Spur gear, (mine was lunched) and kindly threw in some diff parts unexpectedly too, Thanks Matt.
Was looking to put in the longer shaft to fit a slipper etc., but will be running it in stock vintage class (Mabuchi or Jonson 540 silver can) and as Matt said, wouldn't have the torque to justify the trouble.
Shapeways provided replacement skinny shock collars, wing mounts and front bulkhead.
Took a bit of a gamble and purchased some new shock cartridges losa5015, and traxxas driveshafts TRA9450, apparently they will fit too.
That being said if anyone out there wants to sell me a long spur shaft for the old LRM gearbox, please PM me.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
OPTIMA MID RE RE,
Finally arrived last week and couldn't resist screwing it together, Cliché, but this really was my first decent RC Car, had a first generation from way back then.
Couldn't believe the precision and parts fit compared with the original, Kyosho fan anyway, but really nice to assemble.
I did replace the Black screws with stainless steel as i cant stand rusted or discolored bits, and replacing the rear wing assembly with some custom parts too.
Waiting to fit team bluegroove belt covers and SWB undertray
Cant wait to hear if the Pro Cat is coming soon, cant be far away, need to start saving for that too.

I don't really collect Hot Wheels, but I have a soft spot for KITT. Such a cool TV car. It seemed kind of like an oversized RC car. Maybe I'll need to see if I can make an RC replica someday with an oscillating red led light strip. It would be several cars back on the project list though.

If you feel the need to get super nerdy into Knight Rider, do yourself a favor and check out the Knight Rider Historians: https://www.knightriderhistorians.com/ Their Youtube channel is pretty interesting. They own at least one on-screen KITT car (most were destroyed for legal reasons, great story), one of two on-screen semis, and they recently acquired the FLAG semi trailer that was used throughout the series, and are just starting into the rebuild of it.

I got a big box full of nothing in the post today. Normally this wouldn't be noteworthy except that I pre-ordered a Cougar on the morning of June 10th.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I brought another Traxxas into the fleet. I am finding in a world where AE RC-anything is so overvalued, early Traxxas stuff is undervalued at the moment IMO. In the past 6 months, I have purchased a blue eagle, multiple hawks/hawk IIs, a sledgehammer, a fiero gtp, and now a radicator for less than they are worth (IMO of course). I don't want to get into specifics due to forum rules, but older Traxxases (Traxxi?) are worth looking into if you are tired of paying 2022 AE prices.
