I will be getting an RC10 Cadillac, and I was hoping to replace the round nylon/plastic shock cap seals. They don't look clean and stick out a bit too much for my liking.
Cosmetically, I prefer the Edinger look (more hidden) or perhaps you all use a rubber seal without any plastic? Any suggestions for looking good and keeping oil out?

I use the newer style o rings on all of mine.

When you tighten them the first time, you might have to push part of the o ring in with your finger nail.
