Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Well, just need to wait for my orange pla to arrive so I can try printing out my walking clock....
They should work fine and be fairly light on support material to print thanks to those deep cones. I am going to hold off uploading them for now as I want first crack at printing them lol.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
If you build up from parts, the bellcrank posts require 2.5mm e clips which are completely unlisted and not supplied in any mini jrx2 parts bag. I used Axial as they were cheapest.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Added rod ends to the spring retainer so you can now convert 5 link shocks to h arms or front use. They use pivot balls from the shock mount parts bag or straight from the 5 links themselves.
Shock Retainer and rod end: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/losi-mini-jrx2-shock-spring-retainer
and I have been able to print out one Jrxt wheel.. it needs more work... 3 piece wheels ALWAYS need more work grrr.... lol

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
So....I'm late to the party - what did I miss?
clm - I easily see an LXT in my future, thank you
What body are you working on for the LXT?
As Jeff mentioned, my two printers probably have 1000s of hours on them now, Ender 3 Pro, both with alloy clamp and glass beds, little things here and there as well - I am filament rich, I probably have 30+ rolls, and emptied nearly a dozen on top of that. Once they are leveled out, they print just fine. They are both cranking out parts, cars, modified items, I think I am approaching the limit for saved files on TinkerCad, LOL.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Bodys and lexan parts are not my forte!
I would happily print out mockups for someone who is capable of making bodies and lexan parts... as it is I am working to model all the hard parts I can model for these cars and just had a thought to ask if anyone had A traxxas hawk I could borrow for a couple months to model lol

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Boki racing could probably do a limited run off a 3D printed buck if you were to model a body
As far as the Hawk goes- I found a complete first gen cad model on grabcad a while back. I haven’t looked it over real close but it looked pretty solid.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Thanks Jeff, I will have to go looking for that.
Just found it, it looks good, I will probably pick up some og parts so I can calibrate size... time to buy bulk Reprapper white pla+ lol... I think it would look right with super knobby rc10 classic rear tires lol

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
I haven't given up on my future dream of pulling bodies. On hold for a bit, I need to clear out room & reduce the number of projects I have...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread
Most likely true - since I dove into 3d, my projects have grown exponentially...
