Been wanting one since they came out many years ago. I heard they were very competitive on asphalt due their unique rear suspension but on carpet, the 10L's dominated. The rear pod remains parallel throughout its entire movement. Very cool! But this example "for parts" was locked up. Didn't move at all. Time to fix.

Here's how it looked when it survived a long postal trip in saran wrap and thin plastic envelope which was stuffed half hanging out of my mailbox

Most original parts still accounted for except rear axle. Chassis in very good shape as I suspect this car was shelved early due to possible broken axle and then forgotten.
Chassis stripped down and cleaned. This one was never CA'd around the edges so I began the process. I also decided to bling it up a bit by polishing the surfaces. This shows the internal carbon weave much better than leaving it with the original matte finish.
Stripped down rear suspension assembly and freed up shock hinge pins by polishing them with blue magic. Rebuilt the shock and filled with 35wt oil. Works like it should now. Will switch to all stainless screws for this one.
