Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
If we do a brushless system would it then be considered a WOIN build ??
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
Well I think I am done with the rough shape of the chassis although I do need to do the upper brace. I finished them in both styles, Junior and Pro
Printing will be a bit tedious with them as they do tend to be large, it is probably best strength to print them laying on their side but easier to print them laying flat on the bed.
Edit: Posted the current WIP status

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
Those look good
They might be stronger printed on their side but the shear amount of support would be huge and ugly to clean up , you could compromise and just tilt it 35° , should add strength and only need support on the bottom , think I'd just print it flat though.

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
My LHS has one of these in stock..hard to tell from the pic but is this a long shaft? Looks like I’m going to visit the shop today..
ETA
LHS did not disappoint.. picked up this Trinity Monster Termination motor which looks to be the fastest motor in this series.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
Got a test chassis printed, I need to adjust the spacing of the holes in the tail a bit but wont be able to do that until next week due to poor internet access.

If doing a separate esc and receiver, this might be a good candidate.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
Here is a comparison of the Jrx2 mini springs(black) vs the mini T 2.0 springs(silver).. Jrx2 mini are 25mm & 35mm vs mini T 2.0 30mm & 40mm.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
If I'm not mistaken, original Mini T springs are even longer.

That’s interesting…. The rear shocks could use a lot longer spring..juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 8:53 pm If I'm not mistaken, original Mini T springs are even longer.

Re: Losi Mini JRX2 coming soon
I don't have any on hand but wouldn't M2 (shocks) and M4 (axles) white nylon nuts be correct and keep everything metric? Before I order 200 of them from McMaster
I'm not skilled to post link but check part #'s 93800A300 (M2) and 93800A500 (M4).
