I remember seeing a car with model rocket "motors" in a magazine article. It used one channel for the igniter and the other for steering.

I wanted to build one, and kinda still do.

Boy I've been slackin', haven't spent much time around the site much lately and just now noticed this thread for the first time.

I'm not bored, I just didn't want to start another thread. And what I jave to share isn't that cool. BUT, we are hitting the states and I am thinking about raiding the storage unit and my parents house (as this has been the shipping destination for some of my eBay junk). I've been hemming and hawing on some build ideas (all TRX-1 based) and I'm leaning more and more towards "it is time". I guess if I'm that "into it" I will do it. Gotta admit though, the timeframe is gonna be way more compressed than it seems will be. It's gonna be real easy to just hang out and soak it all in. Plus having critical side-missions involving vintage RC seems strange to the outside observer... so I come across as "the weirdo" alot.

Off topic chats are food for the soul. They help keep the main topics on track, while giving everyone a place for random commentary and frivolity! We had them at Clodtalk and I've made a point to get them instated on other forums I frequent. It's also a place for us former (insert forum genre here) enthusiasts to still enjoy the friends we've made along the way, even though we may not be in said genre anymore.
