And it came out completely unscathed.
Not what I had in mind when I said that Traxxas was best for bashing.

Got a couple more Onyx S25 servos. While I haven't tried everything, they are the only thing (currently) that I know of that directly fits the RC10 mini servo holes.
What I'd really like is to find a good deal on a bunch of Futaba S-132's.

For me this was kind of the Lamborghini Poster motor , a long way from being the most valuable now but an icon of it's time . Needs a new decal but it's a good runner

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Got a new ECX Torment slider.
I'm thinking of a sort-of truck/desert buggy build. Nothing crazy, just a few mods and send it.

In my quest for an older green label Reedy Modified, I thought I might have spotted one in the bottom left in a gaggle buy.
. .
Unfortunately, it ended up being a green label Sonic. I didn't have one, but was a bit of a letdown. I think I might need to start weeding out motors I don't intend to keep. I now have the world supply of green handout motors.

That Green Machine is pretty classic, looks like no brush hood heatsinks from pic, hard to see....I like them best without the heatsinks, or whatever those things areFrankentruck wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 4:19 pm In my quest for an older green label Reedy Modified, I thought I might have spotted one in the bottom left in a gaggle buy.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Are you taking about the screw down heatsinks or the newer Paradox style hoods?
None of my Trinity stock motors have the screw down type. My Green Machine 3 Pros do have the Paradox style hoods and overhead springs.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I personally like the screw down brush heat sinks. I'm not really a fan of the wavy brush hood plates though, and I dislike brushes being solders to the brush hood.

I like the screw down heatsinks, just not the wavy sides on the brush hoods, the straight ones are ok, but prefer nothing there for a more classic approach!juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 5:17 pmAre you taking about the screw down heatsinks or the newer Paradox style hoods?

I bought one of those used, but almost NIB a few years ago.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 3:15 pm Got a new ECX Torment slider.

Soft tires, ok shocks, beat the heck out of it and it still runs. Decent for what it is and what I paid.

I'll be using different tires and big bores on it.Diamond Dave wrote: ↑Thu Mar 31, 2022 12:36 amI bought one of those used, but almost NIB a few years ago.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 3:15 pm Got a new ECX Torment slider.

My son and nephew both have Amps, so I'm somewhat familiar with ECX 2WD's.
I wanted something different, and this definitely qualifies.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Walmart just delivered my new 40qt Sterlite bins for organizing my projects (they currently all get intermingled) and my new motor storage cases. The bins just happen to be big enough for a Kyosho box. I wanted the 30qt, but they were sold out everywhere. Now glad I went a little bigger.
