Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I got some friends on other forums impatient to know about N2 and N3
so I have to post about that...
So this morning, I got a first delivery at home. In the two boxes there was :
1. In the first box there was a Marui Ninja coming from Germany . Driver and MSC missing, Body is bad state but chassis seems in good condition. The rear gearbox have an issue, but that doesn't bother me too much. I'll have to check that out. The tires are in a good condition. (I don't repost the picture, you already seen it).
2. In the second box there was a Marui Shogun coming from Romania : more work required to complete it, and some missing parts. Rear wheels and tires in good condition, and broken rims in front. But hey, it's the most rare of the Marui cars : a Shogun warrior. That should keep me busy for some time (after my other in progress projects). I'll probably open one single thread for the two cars are they are sharing a lot together.

Later on I had to fetch a box to one the relay nearby. It was coming from France. On guy asked me for an estimation few weeks back, looking at the photos I gave him an honest estimation. He asked me if I was interested : I could not say I was not, but I told him : it's a pity, I like it, I would be ready to offer this price, but not before beginning of March. That was early February...
He told me he would wait for me to be ready, and later people confirmed my estimation on the thread the guy was asking what was the car... He asked me two weeks later if I was still interested, and I firmly tell yes I am. I bought it last Saturday. It arrived today...
And it's...
Another Marui warrior. My favorite. A Samurai

Some marks of use, but overall in good state, requiring a cleaning, and at least the tires are in good shape... one of the rim has lost its chrome paint, but it's still nice...
And yes, the 3 Marui Warriors arrived within the same day... I may have thought about an Optima Mid, later on this year, but that idea is gone for the moment

Got some interesting stuff in the mail.... being back in the office has some perks. Well, ONE perk
Some Losi parts - XXX-SCB instructions and bumpers, SCB/SCT battery holder and brace, and a XXX motor mount (too nice to say no to). Plus some NIP XXX-SCT tyres, and a pair of nice new PB Mini Mustang repro bodies and gear covers from Sabula Tech.
Better get that Mini Mustang finished now!

Got three more Speedworks motors. They moved from Canada, down to the coast.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

So, I havent been super active here, but lately decided to teach myself 3D modeling and learning how to print (again, being a bit stubborn and trying to muscle through it). But once a 'part' I designed and printed fits a car, I've outsourced some quality prints to be made.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I thought I lost another box which had some stuff for a future build, so hastily I ordered another Turbo Ultima body set and tires from MarwanRC, which just arrived.
You know what happened next, yes you guessed it. I found the box mixed with other stuff, so now have 2 sets.

The Turbo Ultima body is a stylish classic. There's no shame in having a spare.

Got myself in a 1997 GM Racing Catalog (which is like a catalogue for normal-speaking folk), to go with my growing GM motor collection.....
Some good info here!
Sorry about the crappy photos, though.... taken quickly on my mobile here in the office.

I'd send it back, the wires aren't all lined up like in the picture.....
Interesting ESC, I like the "Energy Management System"
Not much info on those Mtroniks ESC's. I've got a prodigi pro but there isn't much info out there, at least not that I could find.
