You've got some pretty sweet project builds, and nice skills!

Re: Clodbuster build
SWEET!!! it would be good if you were to find that tailgate and grill with the Chevy insignias and logo. That would make the build totally killer.
I don't know why Tamiya stopped with the Chevy logos and stuff. THey looked way more authentic with them on it.
Still a very sweet build. You got Mad Skillz!!

Oh wow!! I didn't know that.
I think my local hobby shop has some Clod Buster tree parts still with the Chevy Logos.
I'll have to look and see if I can swoop them up then.
Nice...

Re: Clodbuster build
Hey there!
Just as I thought. The local shop did/does have them tucked away in a storage box.
They were priced at $75/ea set (bag X10079 - White G tree, chrome H tree, and Clear K tree).
SO I bought them.
Thanks for the heads up on the scarcity of those.
I also bought an original white Chevy body for the Clodbuster as well.
It wasn't in a bag but it completed the body set. (except for the glass).

Re: Clodbuster build
You can find reproduction grilles and tailgates on eBay for $22 each. Unfortunately they're not chrome. However somebody did a nice job with their 3D printer. While I know they're not THE sought after pieces, I think they look better than that 4x4x4 across the grille, and could really look the part of you have modeling skills. I’m eyeing a set myself.
Btw that’s a fine clod you have there. Mind if I ask what the chassis is?
