I raced a JRX-2 back in the day. When the JRX-T came out, I wanted one so bad, but it wasn't in my budget at age 12 lol. That JRX-2 is the one car I regret selling and hopefully I'll find another one to go with the JRX-T.Diamond Dave wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 9:46 pm I would love another JR-T. Built one from parts a few years ago. Built my first in 1988.
I could build another right now, NIB would be fantastic.

I really really really wanted this. It cost more than my typical acquisitions, and I'm sure a cheaper example will come up right away because I bought it (actually, a cheaper one already did almost immediately). The chassis is in beautiful shape and I couldn't be happier with it. This will definitely be my first shelfer.

I also came across this early Reedy brushless motor. The price was right and it looked cool to me.

Yeah, I've been looking for one of these since last summer when you built your Stadium Blitzer.
Just when I was ready to order, they were out of stock everywhere.
Then months passed and I sorta forgot until last week when I was browsing the online retailers and noticed they were back on the shelf.
Anyway, this is going to be a basher -- not even gonna paint the body.

Been a while since I posted, and I like the odd ones
Venom Gambler SC (slider/roller for parts) & Academy Neo Griffin in really good condition - actually both are in excellent condition...

Then don't bother gluing the rear tires. They will wear out before the glue finishes setting. The fronts are okay.
And go ahead and get a 32 pitch steel pinion. The one that comes with it is made of pot metal. It will wear out and damage the counter gear with it.

2 sets of JC Racing gold chrome Optima rims. They have been out of stock for a while so I inquired about them. They said it would be about 2 months but after almost 4 I started losing hope. Then out of no where they emailed me that 20 set were going online and being listed on FB. I got there with a quickness.

A green ESC? Did they make a green receiver too? There's been several recent builds that ESC would go great with.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Apparently when a fantastic condition RC10 Graphite comes your way, it brings along a friend. In this case, an equally pristine TQ10 for about the cost of 10 single topping large pizzas. I now have my 2nd shelfer, although it could use a new body. It was trimmed out around the rear body post.
. .
Now I need to get some shelves. Two spots are already taken!
Some blue Trinity bling also came in for my budget RC10B4 that I'm absolutely not spending money to upgrade... and some bumpers, an ESC, and a 12L diff spacer from France.

Yeah they did.. I passed on one a while back and now I regret it now. They are both hard to find.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 4:49 pm A green ESC? Did they make a green receiver too? There's been several recent builds that ESC would go great with.
