Thanks, I am going to go brushed and run a Hobbywing 1060 for its small footprint. Incidently, shorty Lipo fits perfect in the traditional side to side placement. A longer screw at each end that hold the little plastic pieces on locks it in perfect. This configuration leaves room behind battery inside chassis too. I also may have enough room if I use a small steering servo for the receiver. Just need to get around to it.

How did this upgrade work out? I just got the same top deck in a quest to build up my Ultima.
