Billy Easton 2003 RC10B4 Replica Build

Post by XxRONNxX »

One of my favorite AE cars. I guess its safe to say the RC10B4 is officially vintage. 2003 was the first year this car won the IFMAR worlds. It won again in 2005, 2007, 2009, and in 2011. New parts are becoming scarce and prices on the rise. No MCI decal kits yet so this should be fun. I'm up for the challenge. :D

My donor car. A first release non Factory Team with what I think is an early gear cover.

Yeah, that was the first release/early gear cover. If it's an early car the front bumper would be tiny, no wider then the bulkhead.

All B4 front bumpers weren't like that, no wider than the bulkhead? I know all T4's had the same front bumper, from the first T4 to the T4.3.

Do you have someone in mind to do a nice paint job? Looking forward to your completed project!

Early B4 parts on right which coincide with the early gear cover, later parts on left. The B4 was released before the T4.

I remember back in the day, this forum was very active. Times have changed.

Anyway, yes, I have an early B4. Except for the chassis with crazy glue, the rest of the car looks new. It appears the car was run maybe once or twice.
