Here's my short arm A stamp, which has a few deviations and minor changes from box art.
- The chassis is drilled for in-line battery mounting. The steering has been upgraded to Worlds bellcranks and in-line axles.
- I went with JConcepts tires and wheels instead of the originals.
- The electronics consists of a Futaba R112JE receiver and MC109 esc, GWS mini servo, and Associated blue label stock motor. The battery is also an original Associated 1200 mah pack, complete with the original price tag.

The inspiration for this build comes from the Marui The Samurai 4wd prototypes campaigned at the 1985 Worlds , the prototypes were all white .
The Samurai to me is one of the best looking buggy's from the 80's and in white just so much better , this project leans heavily on 3d printed parts , I drew up the entire front end bulkhead three piece assembly , front and rear suspension ,roll cage and nerf bars and printed them in super tough Polycarbonate , the front cage body section is also my design and 3d printed, the wheels are also 3d printed copy's of the original but you can only show so much in two photo's .
The chassis is original just painted white , there is also a Kydex undertray incorporating a rear bumper to protect the fragile chassis and gearbox .
Its sporting a Tekin Gold Fet II and Trinity Monster Horse Power Alloy end bell motor with additional heat sinks .
What's really mad is this is my runner build " Ronin " Samurai , here's a link to the build thread https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=46288

This is a car I scratch built from about 10 years ago.
The frame is all magnesium. Rest of the parts are just a hodge podge of what i had laying around.
Please don't judge solely on the steering linkage. That's just what happens when you start building before finishing the design.
