I was watching that one. It did look really nice, just with that odd little chassis cutout.

I’m thinking a very poorly placed on/off switchFrankentruck wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 6:04 pm I was watching that one. It did look really nice, just with that odd little chassis cutout.

Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

I thought that too. A hard landing from a jump could switch it off.MarkyDents wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 7:29 pmI’m thinking a very poorly placed on/off switchFrankentruck wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 6:04 pm I was watching that one. It did look really nice, just with that odd little chassis cutout.![]()

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
A giant stash of parts.
A pile of axles, hinge pins, dogbones, turnbuckles, shock shafts, and some other random parts.
A six gear transmission, rear suspension, truck bellcranks (molded link!), trimmed bulkhead, and JG bumper.
These are parts for several different vehicles, but the trimmed bulkhead and huge JG bumper might be hints for a couple.

If you haven’t done so already, checkout mini-lathe.com. I learned how to machine with one of these - they are great and there are mods to make it even better. Chris at Littlemachineshop.com is very helpful and has good quality parts.

Little smorgasbord from Phin came in. RC10L box with paperwork, 10L parts, 6-gear internals, and LaTrax front end.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

New toys to play with! Now I just need to decide what to make it into. The wheels might not be going with this chassis... or maybe?

Something a little unusual for me: a modern buggy.
I don't know if this means that I've finally learned to accept the modern stuff
or if it means that I'm just desperate to build a new buggy from kit - probably some of both.

A load of NOS parts came my way for my T3, TC3, eGT, B4 fleet. Much thanks to R6cowboy for sharing access to an awesome LHS.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Latest Ebay purchase, A Near mint late Edinger with box and manual. Motor has Edinger address (and the box) and it has 4 groove tires in front with no writing/ logo on any of them. Based on what I have learned here I would say pretty sure 1986 vintage. Body is rough but has the early squiggly lines for the window net. Now all I have to figure out is how to get photos from my Android onto my Mac book...They don't play well together.
