What recievers are compatible with Spektrum SLT3?

Post by K-TOWN-KITT »

I recently aquired a lot of rc's but no transmitter. All the recievers are Spektrum and a Losi. There is a SLT3 transmitter for sale here locally on Facebook. I searched the interwebs and everything I found says the SLR300 reciever is compadable with upgraded transmitters but it doesn't say if you can use other recievers with the transmitter. I would think you could. Just wondering before I go out there to check it out. Thanks.

SR3000 X 2
SM3001 PRO SERIES
SR300
LOSI MRX-3000 with Spektrum 2.4 GHz DSM
Micro reciever that just says Spektrum

The SLT and DSM protocols are different, and I don't believe that SLT TX will operate any DSM RXs. Some DSMR / DSM2 RXs can be updated to accept SLT, but I don't think any of your listed standard DSM RXs are capable of that.

To the best of my knowledge, all DSM2 / DSMR / DSMX transmitters are backwards compatible to DSM receivers, so you just need to find a radio with DSM in the specs. They would operate in DSM mode.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Thanks for the good advice. I remember when just going 2.4 was mindblowing when you realized the signals went to a satellite.
