Very racey RC10T
Alright so a couple months ago my friend contacts me stating he just clicked buy it now on a sweet two vehicle package.
Cool what’d ya get now ?? Turns out he went for it because one was an all black parts Worlds car, both of them were clearly used but in very nice well taking care of condition and were definitely built to go racing. He tells me I’ll love the T and I’m buying from him sight unseen.
Naturally this was someone else’s build, but it turns out I absolutely love it exactly the way it is. Only thing I’m looking to change on it are the tires. As for the body I’m thinking I know what I want.

Re: Very racey RC10T
If you mess with the electronics, remember to pay attention to the pinouts. That looks like an early Airtronics receiver and servo pigtail.
I hate dealing with early Airtronics stuff. I've screwed up some perfectly good stuff because of it.

Is that steering servo glued down?

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

This was a plug tag from an Airtronics set up I just recently worked with. Airtronics stuff wasn't compatible with Airtronics stuff.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 4:28 pm If you mess with the electronics, remember to pay attention to the pinouts. Re: Very racey RC10T
I just noticed that the servo is a Futaba S9304.
My Team Truck came with that same servo when I bought it. Just thought it was a weird coincidence, as I've never seen many of them.
Also, those bellcranks are thick. I don't recognize them but they are definitely aftermarket.

Now that you’ve mentioned the bellcranks I’m going to check them out and some other parts on it more closely

I did receive a nice transmitter with it as well, I’ll dig it up and take some pics.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 4:28 pm If you mess with the electronics, remember to pay attention to the pinouts. That looks like an early Airtronics receiver and servo pigtail.

The one in my truck is so smooth that I often find the wheels turned, just from the weight of the truck.MarkyDents wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 6:31 pmHas to be one of the smoothest fastest servos I’ve ever hadjuicedcoupe wrote: ↑Sun Sep 12, 2021 5:07 pm I just noticed that the servo is a Futaba S9304.

Re: Very racey RC10T
No branding on the bellcranks.
Has delrin lower shock pivots.
Snap on spring adjusters.
Man this thing has aluminum hardware everywhere.
What do you think, Slot Machine ? No decal on the can.
The foam trans gasket is still good.
What would you call the rear chassis mod, the endbell remover

Re: Very racey RC10T
Slot Machine 2. The original had a black end bell.
And someone cut one of my chassis like that as well. Who knows what for.
