Think I’m going to ditch the red front end brace. Think I will get a carbon fiber one instead. So, if anyone m
Needs said brace, pm me and maybe we could trade parts. I would live the blue rear brace with the ears, or a set of rear tires

Waiting on some more hardware. Getting closer to a final build. This has been a fun retreat. Cost a bit to “ restore”, but I’m happy the way it’s turning out based on the scarcity of parts and cost. Thinking I may swap out the red front brace for a carbon fiber one, unless someone wants to sell or maybe trade for a trinity blue one.....

Do you have kids that are helping out? I find myself smiling at all the colorful marks and stickers on your work surface. :D The build looks great so far!

No, kids are too young. But I’m finishing my basement and had an old countertop. I was put in a corner. This was their old “art” spot. I claimed it as my rc spot now.

Slider status now. I have a TBG repro. body. I need to find time to cut and paint. Also looking for tires. I have wheels, just looking for the old 2.2 fronts and rears. Do manufacturer’s still make tires to fit the old wheels? Or do I just go with the hex conversions?

The 2.2 tire size is still common, so you shouldn't have any issues finding tires.

Did you make any more progress with your build?

There is a complete Trinity screw kit on ebay right now.

Slider now as pics show. Just need some tires and paint for the body. But as it’s summer now, the home projects will come first.

Not sure if you're still looking for blue hardware, but I got some stuff from fastener-express. You have to buy in bulk, but the color is Trinity blue.

https://www.fastener-express.com/search.aspx?find=4-40+blue

Also, I'd send Dan at OldRC.com an email if you don't want to buy bulk. I think he has blue hardware if you ask about it.

Also, can't find the thread from kzepplin2 on the Traxxas 12mm conversion. I'm currently trying to do it, but appears the XXT dogbones are too long. Any luck with the rear conversion? The front went together easy.

That’s where I got my hardware from, thanks. Would just like source some ribbed front tires and step pin rears. Hopefully when summer winds down I can get back to it.
