Futaba - Older Discontinued Receiver and Servo Spec Lists
Futaba used to offer these two spec lists for their older discontinued receivers and servos. Now they're only available through the Internet Archives site. That's a bit of a pain. So I decided to edit them a bit, and post them here for easier reference.

Thanks! I was actually looking for the details on an R123F receiver. This is very helpful.

Re: Futaba - Older Discontinued Receiver and Servo Spec Lists
In my hunt for a good 75mhz AM narrow band reciever, I acquired an R152JE Rx which is what my 2PL radio would have originally come with. I think the antenna has been shortened though to it's current 10 inch length. Futaba tech support has no length info to offer other than 75mhz AM and FM should both be the same Rx antenna length. In my collection, the other Futaba 75mhz AM have 23, 20, and 18 inch antennae, and the FM R123F has a 19 inch. Anyone with insight into the correct Futaba antenna length? I think I'll end up replacing it on this short wired Rx.

Re: Futaba - Older Discontinued Receiver and Servo Spec Lists
I measured a 75mhz R142 at 20" and a 75mhz R112 at 19".
I have a R152 but its in a vehicle. I roughly measured about 19". But depending on slack and whether any is twisted in the tube, I could see it actually being 20".
And the 2PL came with different receivers. One of mine came with a R112. My other one came with the original manual, which lists the R142.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Re: Futaba - Older Discontinued Receiver and Servo Spec Lists
I see that R142JE is called out in the manual. Somehow I muat have gotten confused about the 152 superseding the 142. Thanks for the measurements.
20" does sound like a good starting point. Just making sure 23" isn't more common.

Apparently the 2PL radio could be packaged with several different receivers. This one came with the R152JE.

Those lists are superb - thank you! I spend a considerable amount of time searching out old radio gear and this will help no end

When Hobbico went under I thought ahead and saved all those old Futaba pages to my PC.
Here's the ESC list:

Both of my R152JE antennas measure exactly the same at 19-3/8". My R142JE must have been shortened because it's 13".Frankentruck wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 4:24 pm I see that R142JE is called out in the manual.
