I was looking for a 5th hauler for my snowcat tilt trailer and decided to build one. I went with the Tamiya Toyota Land Cruiser GF-01 chassis, and a Axial Unimog body, which looked more proportionate than the Toyota body. The 5th wheel mount and micro servo were mounted on the battery lid. I also switched to a 80t motor for a slower speed. I'll add a few trailer shots & video when it's done.
Waiting for some parts to finish the trailer.

heres the JRX2 / T street runner project with both rear arm setups. the A-arms needed some modding, but it feels very stable, good for street racing. i should have taken close ups of the rear, next time... 8)

Hey guys. I just got the rear wheel conversion kit and installed it, and for some reason it seems like its way too tight with the springs in the dogbones. And not allowing the a-arms to move smoothly. It's almost like its binding somewhere, but it...

I did the same conversion on my son's rc10 classic and I lost the springs. If you pop dogbones you might need a spacer or two in your rear shocks.

finally got to it and converted my t2, but this should work for any truck, hpi blitz hubs, t5m axles (part # asc71013) some generic clamping hexes, 2.5mm home made bearing crush spacers, and aluminum washers i had that fit the 5mm axles, in...

yet again, your stuck with trailing knuckles... the hpi setup gives you either inline or trailing....

well i converted my front axles to the RB5 style, and used the readily available 5 star chrome wheels HPI still sells, car looks great with these wheels. wrote a tutorial on tamiya club, and they can be cut up on like 5 min

the rears fit perfect...

The RB5 axle carriers are areally wide. those Tamiya axles are a definite NO.
