A few people have said that to me already, but I only ever really liked the 240S from the Le Mans range.

The 360PT is a 550.

The UK brand Demon seems to be gathering quite a following at the moment, and I was fortunate enough to stumble across a brand new, unsoldered 27T standard from around 1990 a while back. Absolutely mint. The set advance was upped from 20 to 30deg at this time and they also changed the brush hoods from silver to gold. The Demon labels were reduced in size to eliminate the spec (as the spec also included 20deg advance) so the owner (Nick Adams) instead stuck on his own hand-written sticky dot labels! Really nice looking motors.

scored this Revolution "Killer" off ebay... its 14x2...it ran like crap, surged, sparked etc. Rebuilt it with coomm cut, new bearings and brushes. Smooth as a babys ass now. Its going in the Jrx2 5 link car here in a few minutes....want to see if its got big power but the cleaning lady is inside the house and I dont want her to see me running it for fear she will think its a babies toy!...no she isnt hot

Scored this Revolution "Insane" yesterday by a freak chance. This is it after a restoration. Its a 15 double going in my brothers Avante. It turns 32,200 rpm @ 7.2v and pulls 2 amps. The was the motor we wanted most as kid back in the 80s but never had.

Nicely restored! You now have a legendary motor. I always wanted one after my friend put one in his RC10 and blew my doors off! Isn't it fun taking these old motors that hardly run and returning them to their former glory? Very satisfying in a way. I had to slow my collection of brushed motors as they are so addicting to restore. :D

Is this an Insane motor? It is a double and has an “I” on the armature.. any other way to tell?

It probably is. Thats the original color on the decal. Mine has a new MCI decal but had that one originally....mine has an "I" engraved on the front of the can too...looks factory. I will try and get a close up. If yours is a double its either an Insane or Killer...the Brutus was a triple
