Hi Guys,

Thanks for the add, happy to be here.

I have been reminiscing about my XXT when i was 13 for long enough and decided to go searching for it. Well, i couldn't find one locally and came across a decent T2 Sport and original box that i couldn't pass up on. Over the past few days after getting the kiddos down and will have a couple hours each night to reacquaint myself with a mid 90's RC with a beer or scotch and man, its been nice haha. This is essentially my first time rebuilding an RC and a vintage one at that. Got a spread sheet going with all the missing / broken parts, upgrades, spares and wish list parts and lovin all the little details involved. TONS of info online these days with forums and youtube to help me along the way but i suspect i will be chiming in here every once and a while. Have never used ebay either to this point but i have been scooping up a decent amount of NIP parts including a T4 Top shaft, 81T spur gear and 3/16 stud axles to name a few, clearly an ebay pro. I guess you could say I am doing a bit more of a resto / mod, using "better" manufacturer parts where i can. Hope to "race" it one day, feel it gives it more purpose although i have never raced before.

I currently have dog bones (hence the stud axle upgrade) but i am really searching for a set of CVD's, so if any one has a set, lemme know!
also, i found a set of universal joint axles on the bay, although the seller has no information. Can anyone confirm the T2 length axles and whether they came in 3/16 or just 1/4".
