I don't suppose anybody has measured the pitch of the chain ? Is it like most kyosho chains or a finer pitch ?
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

On the old car at least the chain was finer pitch.

Don't suppose it was the same as the Yokomo 834b by any chance , be nice to find a new supply that didn't cost the earth !

Ok it looks as though I measured a couple chains a while back and then pointed to this SDP-si page to source the chain in bulk
one meter of chain for $20, but iirc there is a minimum price and shipping may be high as well. Its a good place for bulk...
3.75mm and .8 diameter wire

Well, after 8 months on back order, I cancelled. Maybe when Kyosho starts shipping products again I will finally get one. Not holding my breath.

My question also. Did you bite the bullet and order from Japan?

I had a pre-order with Amain since October of last year, and they finally came in. They had stock for not even a day (that I saw) and they were sold out

Hopefully Kyosho America gets more...

My Fantom finally showed up the other day. It was at my door 48 hours after receiving the notification that AMain had some in stock. Of course now I'm unemployed and can't run out & buy that fancy Le Mans motor/ESC combo to go with it, but I couldn't bear to cancel it after waiting that long. It'll sit on the shelf until I can find a new job...I guess I can start scouting out locations with smooth enough pavement to run the thing. It's really a shame indoor carpet tracks just can't seem to stay in business anymore.
Anyone else gotten theirs & want to share some video running it?

Man! That's very disappointing news - I hope you're able to find another job soon.sundevil67 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 11:09 am My Fantom finally showed up the other day. I think employment stats will improve over the coming months as businesses continue to adapt to the new normal.
As one door closes, another door opens. Don't lose hope.
