Awesome choice. Congratulations!
You can save yourself some frustration if you assemble the steering rack to the upper chassis plate before installing it. It's very fiddly if you wait and do that after the plate is fitted to the car.

Merry Christmas!

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Thanks for the tip XLR8. I've been doing some research and homework about assembly. A lot say this is the most difficult, time consuming, patience needing kit there is. That drew me even more to it. I'm trying to think what electronics to fit it with when it's all together. Vintage stuff or not....? Even though it's a re-re, I don't care to put a brushless system in it due to the heritage. And I won't be getting the pro trans, nor the other upgraded goodies unless certain upgrades are highly recommended...? Thinking my Kyosho Le Mans 480 Gold motor might be a good fit for it. Or I'll just keep searching for other vintage stuff.

I don't know which of my current builds I'm more excited about, the CAT or my two Futaba FXT's. Part of the FXT build is going to be building a jig to re-create the stock FXT body. Which I've seen a handful of FXT enthusiasts would love to have since bodies are next to impossible to find, and I have two bodies in great condition. If I'm successful, I'll happily pass them on at the cost of shipping or just a trade.

Up till a week ago I hadn’t heard barely anything about pro 10’s, and now all of a sudden there is a kit on Facebook and now your chassis rails.... something crazy is going on and I want a pro 10 haha

1988 Grasshopper 2 Super G
Looks to be pretty much NIB, a couple packages have been opened.
Also came with new set of Tamiya ball bearings and a new Twister Pocket Rocket!

I hadn't personally seen a Wimpy with a green can so I picked this up off ebay. Got it today. It's in pretty good shape. I wish the brushes hadn't been soldered on though.
