Re: ** Build of the Year Contest - 2020 ** - Winner - Asso_man!
This was the first year ever that I remembered to vote twice. They might be family, but I only used one of my votes for the Stinger because it's a bad ass runner. Drove it again today and it's got balls for days! Doesn't stand a chance, but it's a nice car. Great bunch all around this year!

I just want to see a Losi win it one year. I don't care who's it it, I would just love to see a Losi win "Car of the Year" for RC10talk.com.

Sorry but Losi will have to wait cos its gonna be a Rough Ruder 1st and 2nd , everybody knows it ! Their gonna bounce , fishtail and roll to the front

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

I don’t think this board is ready to see a Losi win the build of the year contest. There are too many RC10 supremacists to let that happen.

I highly doubt a Losi will ever win Build of the Year, and I don't think it's because this is an "rc10" board. An SRB won in 2016. But it wasn't some SRB with a bunch of bolt on hop-ups attached to it. It was a beautifully done, custom built 4wd conversion.
You would need that same kind of effort put forward on a Losi platform to have a shot. Like a 4wd conversion..... a hand built copy of the prototypes from the 91 Worlds. It ain't gonna happen with a bunch of RPM parts and a colorful motor plate.

That SRB 4X4 was one of the best cars I've ever seen on here , was it really 4 years ago !

Possible future Losi contender
Not mine, but my design and parts. Finished by another

I won't vote for anything that isn't outfitted with electronics. But that's just me.

Yup , its easy to make a tidy roller without electronics but its a real talent to make it look good fully ready to run , I can't do it !

I'm usually the same. However, I did make an exception for the Ultramold Hybrid.
Even my cars that I have no intention of actually running, are fully functional.

Would you have chose it if you could only vote for 1?juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:52 pm I'm usually the same. However, I did make an exception for the Ultramold Hybrid.

Tough call, but primarily because I really want one. If it were mine, it would be loaded with Novak or Tekin electronics.scr8p wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 4:01 pmWould you have chose it if you could only vote for 1?juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 3:52 pm I'm usually the same. My other vote was for a fully equipped car. Both cars that I chose are leading the pack.
