Ohhh what have I got

Picked this one up the other day. Got lots of plans for it, long arms, stealth,low line body ,and a few more ideas in my head . What ya all think ?

i think u should consider a Factory Works trailing arm kit....i would be jealous

I've got progress ! Its going together for a trial build, got to remake front shock tower(its a bit long) not sure what rear hubs to use yet either. What do ya think ?

Real nice! dont forget those A & L trailing arms from Jeff over at Factory Works. Get'n a chassis kit myself the second he opens back up

What a cool build! That's going to be a fun ride.

What did you use to trim the chassis to fit the new rear suspension and front bulkhead? I'm hoping to get a mutt Ultima Pro XL based project going this winter and it'll involve cutting a new chassis from carbon plate.

Adam, believ it or not , lots of masking tape , a square a ruler bench drill with grinder bit, then hand file to finish. Glad you like, its kept me quiet in lockdown,

Nice buggies but don't forget to wear a respirator when cutting or grinding carbon fiber.

I believe it, lots can be accomplished with simple tools. Thanks for the feedback! I'm looking forward to seeing it run. :mrgreen:
