AYK - Magnum 480R motor

Post by mirrorman »

Took this from the packet last night to take a look at the motor and check out the instruction / spec sheet inside the packet.

Such a gorgeous looking motor , with a really chunky feel when you turn it over. Must have plenty of torgue.

Nice presentation too.

Can't help with the Turns but being a 480 I'm guessing similar to the Kyosho Le mans 480's of around 25T.

I've got one in my Bobcat...

Thanks for the questimate about the turns winner_evo.

That AYK looks great, especially with a 480 in the back. Would love to see the body.

I have the same chassis and car to build, if I ever get around to it.

How do you find the motor?

Thanks, here's a pic with the body....

They're nice cars to restore with all the aluminium finishing involved.

The car is a shelfer so I've only ran briefly in the garden for basic settings but I'd say the motor is a mildish wind but looks very nice.
