Modern race buggies as bashers?
I like the new losi 22 5.0 elite it reminds me of my 90’s losi xx cr kinwald as it has a few ques taken from the original. Only thing I don’t race or know any tracks. Would it be silly to use it on a large open grass field with a 8.5 brushless?

Many people take their Escalade to go grocery shopping... It works, too

Re: Losi 22 5.0 Elite as a basher?
Of course you can use it. It will out drive most of the basher buggies too. Adjust the ride height and you will have a robust buggy to have fun with. If you break one of the arms, replace them with RPM arms that are even stronger than stock. Race grade cars are meant to take a beating so they can hold up. People might tell you it's a waste to use a race car to bash with, but that is just their opinion. If you like it, run it and have fun.

Back when I first got in the hobby, the RC10 was the best thing running. I remember some would run Hornets, Frogs and Foxes for fun and constantly be breaking parts. They would never run their RC10s off track. Then there was the group I ran in, running an RC10 anywhere I could and barely replacing a part (bent tie rod or broken ball cups) I think it is all a matter of opinion. Do what ever you feel like.

I agree with the others...
I have a Losi 8ight-B 1.0 i bash around my yard with... I run an old RB Concepts WS7 III .21 with some knobby tires and it really kicks ass.
