Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Talked to the guy I got the stuff from, and he had to ask his boss which he got it from. Turns out the guy is a machinist and it started life as a kyosho slingshot but almost all the parts are homemade and its missing the main chassis and alot of other things .. so its a mutt ..Lonestar wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 9:11 amI'm thinking Kyosho F1 possibly with some hop up parts from GPM.mcdze wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 7:11 pm I need help identifying this basket case I got, looks like alot of parts for it in the boxes of junk it came in, some kyosho belts still in bags .. Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Found this on the back of my shelf. Don't remember where/when I got it but this is how I got it with some Team Cobra parts.
I found this link https://www.rcscrapyard.net/bolink.htm#Racetech2
It looks like a Bolink LTO chassis but the Bolink pics all have 6 battery slots where this has 5.

Body question 1
Got this 1:12 body in a lot... was supposed to be 1:10, but it's obviously 1:12. *sigh*
Anyway, does anyone remember an MR2 body being sold back in the day for 1:12? Only possible indicator on the entire body of manufacturer is a tiny decal saying "You-G" - did they make 1:12 lexan bodies?
Detail of the name decals..... both 'MR2' and 'You-G' seem to be the same font... Any info appreciated...

Body question no.2
In the same lot as the MR2, I got these two 1:8 bodies, that I have no clue on. First one is big and white, I'm thinking ABS like Mardave make their bodies... underneath, it has "Matich S4" written in pen... Second one is some weird 70's style body..... I'm thinking Wacky Races.... or the stuff people used to run back then. As usual, any info appreciated

Those are Traxxas buckles- sold in sets and also individually by length
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Hi.
Can anyone identify the manufacturer of these alloy wheel covers for Tamiyas Ford Ranger/Subaru Brat models?
They are old stock but the seller lost the packaging forever ago.
I’ve seen them on models before so they are out there.
Thanks in advance.
