Nice score! I've never had a Hotshot myself. Are you restoring to shelf status or a runner?

Are you going period correct motor? ESC or MSC? I'm excited to see how this turns out. Living vicariously through you

I'm definitely no expert but except for the body and wing, the car appears to be intact.
Should be a fun restoration project.
Looking forward to updates.
By chance have you seen this:

I'm guessing the gold wheels on your car are original while the white ones on Matteo's car are re-re?

Are you thinking modern wheels/tires or something vintage style? That's the battle I always have with 80's cars and trucks.

It will be 80s tires and wheels, prolly Hotshots but Egress style wheels could look cool

Cool. I have 2 NIP pairs of Tamiya 5270 Pin Spike front tires if you're interested. I don't have a 4WD buggy at this point so I have no use for them.

Here’s a set of white lightweight wheels on mine, the Egress black versions will look cool too
You name it - and I want it ;)

Its cool but just goin with a certain look if i can....used technigold closing in 45 mins....wish luck! Rather have a Technipower, but those are rarer than LeMans 240SB's!!
