Finding Parts - Dogbones / Univesal Joints

Post by VintageTrucker »

Hi,

I have a 10T back from 1994. It's sat on the shelf for a while and then my daughter got interested in cars and thought this would be a great teacher car.
I do a simple warm up with the truck (nothing aggressive) and I broke a rear dogbone (it's actually a universal joint that makes the dogbone and drive axle on the rear wheel 1 piece.

Where is a great go to parts place for this awesome vintage RC car?

Thank you in advance.

Ebay is pretty much the only place to look for replacement parts. MIP CVD's are the best upgrade, but they go for a high price on ebay. Around $100 from what I have seen lately for a complete kit. Might get lucky and piece a set together for half the cost. An original set of universals can be found cheaper if you diligently search them out. I wouldn't even mess with a set of standard dogbones, especially for a play truck.
