Re: Kyosho Fazer Mk2 Alpine Battery
Hi. The Fazer is a great car; I have the Chevelle.
If you interested in going with a LiPo battery, any 2S (7.4 volt) conventional "stick" format battery with a Deans "T" connector would be suitable for the Fazer. Here is an example from Kyosho's site: https://www.kyoshoamerica.com/PowerMax-Sport-4200-LiPo-74V_p_10337.html
Alternatively, you could go with a NiMh battery, 6 cell (7.2 volt) in the same "stick" format. If you use a NiMh battery, you will need to switch the ESC's battery mode to NiMH as it is preset to Lipo - your manual explains how to do this on pages 17 and 18.
Either way, be sure to buy a battery with a Deans connector and I would recommend a minimum capacity of 3000 mah so you can have a reasonable amount of run time.
Regarding a charger, I've been using a Hitec X4 Multi-Charger like this one for a few years and it works great. It can handle just about any battery chemistry and it can charge 4 batteries at once.

Of course, Hitec and other charger manufacturers also offer single station chargers as well. There are many battery and charger manufacturers and these are just examples of what will work with your car.

Happy to help.

Thank you for trying to reach out to your local shop first. We really need to support or local businesses whenever possible.
Unfortunately, we lost our local shop a few years ago so it's buy online or get in the car and drive for 3 hours to a distant shop.
