Really nice!
Is the white dowel located above the spur gear a structural member?

I have made the decision to strip the paint off the body. Previous owner laid only one coat of paint and backed it up with silver paint that bled through.
Using Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner which is almost the same as Tamiya polycarbonate cleaner.

It's probably just the photos but the flaws really don't leap out. To my eye, the body looks awesome - I probably wouldn't touch it.
God forbid, but if it all goes wrong, will you be able to find a replacement?
I really like this car!

Yeah I've seen that and all other FX- parts that this seller has. He's the only one out there and prices are.. well over my budget to say the least.XLR8 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 11:31 pm Actually, someone has just posted a complete body set on ebay.

Really nice car, I must admit I really like the F1 rc cars despite note being a huge fan of F1, the scale realism is awesome.
I just came across the Nitro version on ebay, very neat concealing the nitro engine under the body....

No idea on the pricing of these things.

So I ended up painting the white areas on the front wing and rear spoiler as the old decals were like patchwork

You know that it can be configured to use not one but two Mega Motors?
IIRC, you just need an additional motor mount.

Re: 1:8 Kyosho 4246 Williams Renault FW14 EP
Long time since last update.
Had to work hard on the drivers helmet.
The waterslide decals did not want to cooperate even with micro sol and micro set. So that meant painting the red and blue areas.
