stinull.com ??

Post by THEYTOOKMYTHUMB »

I'm sure there has to be something fishy going on here so proceed with caution. I ran across this earlier while searching something completely different. I got as far as confirm order thru PayPal when I decided it was best to back out. I have no desire for the car, but was almost too curious not to try and buy it. They have a Blazer also listed for $79 that looked interesting.

I was just curious if anyone knew anything about this site? You can view it in English or French. I'm sure I'm missing something.

Those sites are fake, they send (if anything) a toy and let you battle the credit card company over the dispute. They will show tracking and sometimes you get your money back sometimes you have to send the wrong item back.

Cost to build is more than that, and traxxas doesn’t allow selling for less than street price so if you see anything that sounds too good to be true it is. Stay off of Wish.com too lol.

Those sites like that need to be reported and shut down. I've been hearing more and more people talking about these sites like that selling Rc vehicles dirt cheap and screwing people with fake tracking or sending garbage to the customer. By backing out before clicking pay now you saved yourself a big headache for sure.

Yeah, I've certainly heard of scams and the old adage "If it seems too good to be true...". My only thought was 'well, maybe they made a mistake and I can get one before they catch it.' I didn't realize they went to this level, but after all my years on the internet I guess nothing should come as a surprise.

Hey I don't blame ya. Sometimes when you see a price too good to be true you just get lucky, but most times there's a reason. I feel for one myself just yesterday. Picked up a LED shop light at Walmart yesterday marked down to $10.92. All the ones in the past year I bought there were $21.84. Got it home and plugged it in and it's about 1/4 the brightness it should be. Honestly something they should not even have on the shelf for sale IMO because its obviously defective. Needless to say I'm taking it back tonight. I knew when I bought it there had to be a reason it was half price
