Why are some people allowed to use drills?

Post by aconsola »

This car, is painful to look at. I believe it is a composite craft wide front end chassis. Take a look at the servo mounting position. They ignored a set of perfectly countersunk stock holes to elevate the servo and flip the saver upside down, how original.
The battery cup was mounted up front to place the battery inline. instead of drilling to use the stock mounting locations, they drilled in the middle of the cup and put velcro over the nuts inside the cup.

That's a new one. I've never seen that type of genius outside-the-box thinking. :)

That just might be inside-the-box-and-can't-get-out thinking...? You know, kind of in a wet paper bag with a machete and still can't escape kind of thing  :?

Futaba and Novak used to make reversed servos for just that reason... (think RC12i era, which required a reverse action steering servo)

absolute destruction. If you cant find out how to reverse the servo, you can always snip the servo wires and reverse it. Or, flip servo to face in the opposite direction. Come to think of it, i havent seen a reverse function on my futaba 2pl magnum. But it has an lcd screen so if you take the time to read the manual it might come up.
