This car, is painful to look at. I believe it is a composite craft wide front end chassis. Take a look at the servo mounting position. They ignored a set of perfectly countersunk stock holes to elevate the servo and flip the saver upside down, how original.
The battery cup was mounted up front to place the battery inline. instead of drilling to use the stock mounting locations, they drilled in the middle of the cup and put velcro over the nuts inside the cup.
That just might be inside-the-box-and-can't-get-out thinking...? You know, kind of in a wet paper bag with a machete and still can't escape kind of thing
absolute destruction. If you cant find out how to reverse the servo, you can always snip the servo wires and reverse it. Or, flip servo to face in the opposite direction. Come to think of it, i havent seen a reverse function on my futaba 2pl magnum. But it has an lcd screen so if you take the time to read the manual it might come up.
Because I have dain bramage, I've been buying disasters and returning them to their former glory, or as close as I can! My latest is a '94 YZ10 and all was going fine until I got to the steering servo. I guess the previous owner had some trouble...

Someone at a club I used to race at couldn't be bothered to clean his YZ-10 the traditional way after a wet muddy race. Instead he put it in his parent's dishwasher  . Needless to say the plastic parts came out super clean and shiney, but...

Can you imagine starting to drill the first hole and think to yourself, Ok, here we go, there's no turning back now!
- imagine you are only allowed 4 rc cars for the rest of your life.
- Why 4? Because it's an even number they would fit on a small shelf.
- Assume you will have spares for each if you wanted to run them.
- You have to keep them...

I was looking at RC boats today on the Tower Hobby website, and noticed a Traxxas policy regarding coupon codes. There is a message in the lower left stating Coupon Discount Not Allowed by Manufacturer of this Product .
Really disappointing. Anyone...

Most all brick n mortar shops are struggling against the online places. And yes many folks lack a shop or one that has anything. We have two decent RC shops in Indianapolis. Yes they are Traxxas heavy, thanks to the Slash being the hot thing...

Depends on your budget too!
In the past I've put a bid on an auction as I couldn't afford the buy it now price. As LTO_Dave said, you can sometimes win the item for the bid you put on.
In those situations you could argue you'd be crazy to pay as...
