Yokomo YZ-834B Speed controller plug ?

Post by Dadio »

Hi I'm hoping that someone can identify this plug type , its the plug on the original mechanical speed controller on the YZ-834b Dogfighter that plugs into the motor , its only slightly different to a Tamiya plug but not the same .

it's a typically used associated connector from that time period. I think there was a thread on here recently to discuss it. GomachV I think had the right part number or family part number. It is a molex connector and uses the same crimped pins and sockets.

ah, here is the thread:
https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=44185&p=501980&hilit=associated+motor+connector#p501980

see the post from GomachV. it's actually from TE interconnect, the AMPS family. (although molex probably made it back then)

yep, that's the curse of small items. they are cheap by themselves, but shipping kills you.
