Re: 870c to 91 works build
In my personal experience a cold dye will not take, but it will tint the parts enough to really make you mad that you tried it. Painting is safest.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

If they were mine, I'd paint them.
Paint is removable, dye is permanent.

Yeah they were cleaned super good and already have two coats of white on them. Then I will spray tamiya metallic green over the white. It is very close to the Masami green.

Looks amazing Mike. ... and the green painted bulkhead caps are well suited to this car. Well done!!
Can't wait to see the car finished with body and wing.

Looks great. I just bought a Works 91 NIB off eBay. First Yokomo. Will be building it.
Did you just use spray paint for lexan? I’m thinking of painting them as well.
Thanks for sharing your build.
