My first RC10 is running again

Post by Dumanyu »

I’ve had an original RC10 Gold Pan for 32 years. I raced with it and ran it in the street. Back in the 90’s I loaned it to my best friend who had recently sustained a traumatic brain injury. I figured he was the one who got me into RC and he needed something to focus on. Well he focused on taking it apart and losing the entire rear assembly lol. I kept it because I couldn’t see throwing it away. 3 years ago I started searching for parts. Got it to a rolling chassis and just recently bought the electronics. She’s not as fast as she used to be but it was good to see her run.

Good to hear you got it running! It is definitely rewarding to get a car back up and going after being out of commission for some amount of time (or decades!).
