Thank-you so much for posting this. After so many years, it is nice to see an "action" shot of one of my many buggies, that I still have from that race. The body still looks like that too.

Derek Furitani's Cougar (the one in the pics) had my steering, and a one off gear tranny that I made for him for this race. Eventually Schumacher made him take out the tranny though

Sorry to wake up such an old thread but that was great to see and read! The cars were fun to look at. The paint jobs done back then so carefully and thoughtfully... The 'awesome' paint jobs at the time... Compair to today's painters and
)!!! I still love the old body styles tho. I will never be a fan of the forward cab designs. Thanks again for the post!
