It really is one of the funnest to drive. I was shocked at how powerful that old power plant is. That ass drops and it roars off when you punch the throttle. 8) Wouldn't compete on the track with the RC10GT I don't think, but much more fun to drive! We need to get some video next time.

Little update.... Went to drive this today and of course the pullstart cord pulled out. I immediately yanked the motor, pulled out the crankshaft, put in a new non-pull start crank and backplate I had left over from a cz-r on my Assault build. Put it back in, fired it up on my 1/8th starter box. Warmed it up and hit the streets, and man what a difference. If anyone has seen the contraption that grabs that crank for the pullstart and what it weighs! The truck literally has 2x the power it had, it was ridiculous the difference. What a ripper!

^ That is surprising to hear. I didn't know the pullstart made such a difference. Good thing the cord broke, lol.

Yup, pullstarts really drag em down, plus good place for an air leak.

I remember similar power gains on my Nitro Hawk Image .12 back in the day. When I removed the pull start and one-way and replaced with a heat sink back plate, it had very noticeable improvement in acceleration.

Man, nitro was awesome back then!
