Re: Currently Playing
I saw something earlier that made me think of The D and this song in particular. A nice choice for Friday Eve I think!!

Jeez Mr thumb, you've really upset my idyllic Friday now...

Re: Currently Playing
Pretty cool Jools.
I had never heard of them actually, but they're pretty damn good. It's just another reminder of how many great bands there are out there. Personally, I needed this tonight after I catch my second-wind after being a "Family-Man" all day...

Re: Currently Playing
I've got a couple of their albums, a couple Trucks albums and a couple Tedeschi albums. Susan's voice is one of my favorites, and I really like her guitar playing. Derek on the other hand, as absolutely amazing as he is, I can't warm up to. I love his playing in the ABB, but his own stuff has a middle-eastern or Indian influence that I just can't connect with.Jools wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2019 3:59 pm![]()
Best blues/soul band around. Tedeschi Trucks:

Re: Currently Playing
A friend of mine introduced me to Sabbath around '90. My dad had Paranoid on 8 track and my first car, a '79 Cadillac El Dorado 2 door had an 8 track player in it.
Instantly fell in love. One of my early favorites.

Re: Currently Playing
Finishing up some yard work from yesterday this morning I got caught up in a surprise thunderstorm. Refusing to give in I continued my work and piped this out, as the situation seemed appropriate. Luckily for the neighbors I was in particularly good voice today!

Re: Currently Playing
^^
It's funny to see that band posted because I mentioned them today in casual conversation, but can't remember why. The song below was just somehow an escape from the news for me today though. Sometimes it's just best to turn off the news...
Killer editing for its time!

Re: Currently Playing
Stumbled across this video and thought it ironic at the end of it who showed up along with the song title. I got to see Cinderella open up for Bon Jovi and honestly it should've been the other way around. Cinderella sounded as you see in the videos in concert while IMHO Bon Jovi sucked (both times I seen them) so you get my idea...
