Thank you! I dont think you can see but i just put fresh cvs’s on there, it had cvd’s but i dont like them theres no retainer clip on them (cva’s) so if the set screw comes loose its game over, the pin comes loose and destroys your hub.NomadRacer wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 6:23 am Nice build, your son will have a lot of fun with it, or you!

cva the clip can still move, or come off. some people would put a drop of ca on it. or both the cva and cvd you can put shrink tubing over it. shrink it.

Re: My sons car (or mine?) t4.3
I like the shrink tube idea, when i had the non-clip ones the sst screw came out,so the pin worked its way out an destroyed house aluminum hub, so i put glue on the pin and it workeda lil until i need to service it then it was a pain to dig out glue, so i like the dhrink wrap idea just cut it off when need to, thanks
All tips are welcome

I haven’t used esc yetbroodenburg wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 4:04 am That Hobbywing combo is what I had mind also. Curious what you think of it!
I love the motor, but it was with the now discontinued xerun sct pro 120amp esc before and i loved the combo. I tried replacing but they dontsell if and the new version of that esc is to much money so i went with the cheaper quicrun series, but they say the motor is supposed to work better with the new esc so i will let you know soon i run it
? For you i just hooked up esc out of box and the fan worked then i unpluged it then pluged it back in and it no longer works, any ideas y?
