Hi first time post, my son has a Kyosho Dirt Hog had this problem when we first got it was sent away and fixed under warranty but they never said what was fixed,
so the issue is rc is fully charged and from what i can tell bound steering works but doesnt drive
i have put direct power to the drive motor and it spins
i have reversed the controls to test the throttle and it works
instead of sending it away is there an easy was to solve this it isnt under warranty not so do i just get another receiver to see if thats the issue
thanks

Re: Kyosho Fazer Dirt Hog
Sorry, I guess I misread the first time. So you say you reversed the channels and the throttle was working? If that is the case it is either the transmitter or receiver. You have ruled out motor, speed control, and of course servo.
Have you checked the end point adjustments to make sure they aren’t turned all the way down on the transmitter?
If it ends up being the receiver I would recommend just purchasing a different brand radio. I really like the Futaba quality in the $80 price range but even a GoolRC TG3 off Amazon for the $40 price point will work great

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
