T3 rebuild with updated parts
Got this far today. T4.2 top shaft and slipper where a perfect fit. Went with V2 shocks and factory team aluminum parts. Will update as progresses. This will be raced at local track.

How did you get the tub so nice and shiny?
Are you using the FT parts (suspension, towers etc) ?

Ahh nice updates
V2 threaded shocks. If you are using the B4 axle with the blue spacer you will have to use B4/T4 hubs to make the B4 axle work.

Yes, exactly! I was unable to confirm it would work so just figured I would try! Hopefully do some building this afternoon. Waiting on my bearing order from Avidbroodenburg wrote: ↑Wed Sep 26, 2018 3:39 am Ahh nice updatesV2 threaded shocks. Re: T3 rebuild with updated parts
Did not want to buy the springs again from AE. So made the shocks big bore spring as i have the kits for this. Used traxxas # 3768 for the top collar. Fits perfect. Then jusy AE bottom retainer for 12mm. Feels amazing

Fronts mounted. Justed needed to add a bullstud washer on top mount for spring clearance

B4 axles worked perfectly with blue spacers. Freshly built cvds in stalled.

Re: T3 rebuild with updated parts
Good to know that the cheaper traxxas 3768 retainers do the trick. I also have BB rearsprings on V2 shocks. I don't like how the normal rear ones rub....
