1989 IFMAR Joel Johnson Ultima ?'s
I've found plenty on his 1987 World's car but can't find anything on the car here he used in 1989. Is there a thread or info?
I clearly see Losi wheels, custom shock towers, looks like custom A-arms, not sure if those are Triumph or Pro XL etc..? One off chassis perhaps, looks like Ultima meets Triumph. Sorry if this has been discussed, I've developed a recent case of Ultimaitis. Pics below from here

Only ones i can find. A couple are from the JMRCA race before the Worlds, but looks to be basically the same car.

I somehow remember that prp wrote about all mods and parts in his replica somewhere. IIRC front arms are RPM, but I do not know are those possible RPM front arms for Ultima or Losi (since the front wheels are Losi then there probably is more Losi parts in frontend too: Front axles?, spindle?, front hub carrier? front A-arms???)

I think they are Andy's Wide Track Front Arms for Kyosho Ultima

it´s the middle one.

Yes, they are Andy's, of course I had a set in my drawer and didn't make the connection. What about the rear arms?
In that arm pic you linked, far left to right (JRXT RPM?), Pro XL, Andy's, Turbo Ultima, Ultima. Did I get that right?

Re: 1989 IFMAR Joel Johnson Ultima ?'s
Yes, that´s almost correct.
1. RPM JRX-T
2. Ultima Pro XL
3. Andy´s wide arm for Ultima
4. Std. Ultima and Ultima Turbo
5. Andy´s std./short for Ultima
The rear arms are Ultima pro XL. (adjustable toe-in)

Interesting, wonder why he chose Andy's arm front and not Pro Xl given they are a tad longer. At any rate, I found these pics in February 1990 RC Car Action. Not much, but something more.

Maybe the andys arms put him aready at the legal limit because he used the losi c-carriers, steering knuckles, axles, bearings and wheels.

Re: 1989 IFMAR Joel Johnson Ultima ?'s
Any way to fix the broken pics in this link?
https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=12609&hilit=ultima
Also can anyone clarify the highlighted in red below, not sure what they are/mean?
Chassis Ultima XL redrill for more long wheelbase (original proto graphite Composite Craft). How much longer?
Bac accus B44 (original Bac PK / Corally).
Front arm Andy's long for Ultima.
Losi JRX2 knuckles + axle + wheel Losi.
Upper deck GFK (original in graphite Composite Craft).
Hand made rear shock tower (original proto Kyosho).
Hand made front shock tower (original proto JJ) with medium OH shocks.
Tie rod Tecnacraft and RCH rear.
Body and undertray Mid Custom...paint soon.
Front tires Losi & X Pattern rear.
Speedo Novak T1.
Receiver Novak NER2S.
Servo 131sh or s9401 Futaba , need 3.
Also, Mr. Joel Johnson, please chime in
